Just Start to Finish

Getting started is the biggest thing standing in your way from achieving your goals. A great way to overcome procrastination is to think of one small thing you can get started on. Nothing too big, but any task that will move you toward the finish line.

Just tell yourself that you’ll do the task for 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes is manageable no matter what the task.

Next time you find yourself struggling to start anything, just tell yourself you’re going to do something for 15 minutes. Start and set no expectations. You’ll end up doing more than you thought possible more times than not.

And of course you’ll finish the project and achieve your goals in the process…all because you just got started.
